Ghislain was my internship supervisor during my first, then second, internship in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (at IRAM) within the IBA group. As an internship supervisor, trainer Ghislain has always been available to accompany me, thanks to his sharing, his patience and his incredible knowledge I have the chance to learn + every day, especially on important skills such as software architecture, Refactoring, Clean Code, good coding/programming practices. Ghislain also knows how to motivate and acquire the right skills. One of the traits that struck me the most about Ghislain is the ability, even when overwhelmed with work, to always have time for his colleagues and for me as an intern. He has very great qualities as a trainer, in addition to his incredible knowledge. And a little bonus, he's a good colleague who likes to joke around with colleagues as much as to discuss the latest tech news
I had the great opportunity to be an intern at IBA (Ion Beam Applications) for three months. Ghislain was my internship supervisor and made my time at the company incredible. I never came across someone with such knowledge and patience in coding. I came from three years of computer science and was shown fascinating new concepts, tricks, and good habits in coding and architecture. Other than that, just a very interesting person with whom I could talk about many subjects and learn a lot about technology, general culture, and tips on how to work well in a company with a team. I am thankful to him for everything I learned during those three months.
Mr. Roggemans was my internship supervisor during my professional internship in the second year of my Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Writing. In addition to being an inspiring mentor, he motivated me and rekindled my interest in web development, which was not an easy task given the average quality of the education I was receiving at the time. Even though this field is far from being my main strength, Mr. Roggemans helped me sharpen my perspective and develop a keen interest in optimized solutions for the short, medium, and long term.
